Description

The salinometer is used in combination with a conductive electrode
to measure and supervise salinity of sea water.
Mains supply: 85-265 V, 50-60 Hz
Mains current: Mains supply must be secured against overcurrent externally.
Max. 100mA for 230 V supply and max. 250 mA for 115 V supply.
Power consumption: Max. 3.5 W
Range of Salinity: 0.0 – 200 ppm sea-salt
Build in test-function 10 ppm reference value upon press of TEST-button.
Accuracy: +/- 10% on displayed value
Alarm Level: Adjustable 1.0 – 200 ppm
Electrode disconnected: Alarm indicating an incorrect connection
to the electrode or defective electrode unit.
Cable Connections: Terminal 1 – 2: Mains supply
Terminal 3 – 5: Relay contacts for ALARM RELAY 1
Terminal 6 – 8: Relay contacts for ALARM RELAY 2
Terminal 11 – 15: Electrode unit
Terminal 16: + 4-20mA Current loop out
Terminal 17: – 4-20mA Current loop out
Alarms to devices connected to the ALARM RELAY 2 can be cancelled
by means of a push button “Secondary alarm on/off” on the front panel.
Display readout: 3-digit 7-segment LED
Display alarm set point: 3-digit 7-segment LED
Relay contacts: 8A / 230V AC. Relays must be protected by external fuses.
4 – 20 mA output:
0.0 ppm = 4 mA and 200 ppm = 20 mA (accuracy +/- 10%)
Ambient Temperature:
0 – 55 ° Celcius (Salinometer)
0 – 90 ° Celcius (Electrode Unit)
